Comparison

In Burton's version the Hatter plays a bigger than he does in the book, he is in a lot more of the scenes.  Also Alice is a lot older in Burton's version.  The doormouse in the book is male and a lot bigger, also he is sleepy all the time.  In the Burton's version the doormouse is female and really small shel also has a lot of energy.  The Hare seems kind of the same in both book and movie because he is just insane.  The cheshire cat is somewhat the same too because he is somewhat wise in both movies, also he seems a little creepy because of his smile.  It adds to what I have read by putting images in my head of what the characters are like and how they act.  The things that are different though is Alice is just a girl in the book, but in the movie she is an older teen.  Also the hatter looks a lot crazier in the movie than from how he does looking at the pictures in the book.  The way the movie and book are somewhat similar is because like the queen is a hag in both because she wants to chop everyone's head off.  Also a bunch of crazy things happen in both movie and book which is kind of similar.  I'm more of a movie guy though so I enjoyed the movie more becasue it didn't really take any effort to watch it.
